Mount Gahinga, is a dormant volcano situated within Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, located in southwestern Uganda. It is part of the Virunga Mountains range, which extends across the borders of Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mount Mgahinga is the smallest of the three volcanoes found in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, with an elevation of approximately 3,474 meters (11,397 feet).

The mountain is known for its distinct conical shape and is characterized by its lush vegetation, including bamboo forests and montane woodland, which provides a diverse habitat for various plant and animal species.
